Day 1 Recap

RSA-MEX kick-off game was viewed by Geoff, Jeremy and me in my quiet apartment. There was excitement. I can't believe they are actually playing the World Cup. Unbelievable that bafana bafana tied. Also the shady off-sides call was apparently correct. An opposing player can't be between the second to last defender and last defender. Usually the last defender is the goalie, but not in this case.

FRA-URU was watched by me in my apartment. There was less excitement. In the game and in life. Not much to say. France is a mess. Screw France. Time for Uruguay to shine.
